Country Blues Guitar Lesson - 8 Bar Country Blues Comping Pattern
Published on 18 January 2016
http://bluesguitarunleashed.com/blog/country-blues-8-bar-comping - In this lesson we'll turn a little country and go through a country blues style comping pattern.
Comping is like accompanying... it's all about playing some chords in a certain feel to give some rhythm and some harmony that could be the backdrop to someone singing or another instrument playing a melody or solo.
This revolves around a simple country style bass on 1 and 3, with a slap on 2 and 4 like a snare drum.
I played it with all fingers on the right hand, no pick.
I hope you dig it and tell your friends.
