Exploring the AllFifthsTuning: Simple Jazz Comping
Published on 27 January 2016
Some basic Jazz comping to explore the instrument.
A while ago I changed to an all fifths tuning and now I'm relearning to play again.
The instrument is tuned from a low C (one step above a low B of a five string Bass), up to a regular guitar B.
I play a modified Alvarez ABT60 Baritone acoustic with flatwound strings and made a single loop low Z pickup.
Recording made with KXStudio / Guitarix / Non-DAW / Guvcview / KdenLive.
