The beginning and end are straight, slow blues. But the middle section is different with a jazzy chord progression that requires you to play outside of the blues box. More like Robben Ford or Larry Carlton than Stevie Ray Vaughan. In a future lesson I will cover improvising over this progression. This will include using the blues and major scales as well as some modes (mixolydian, dorian and ionian). Until then, have fun with this! Here's the pattern.
