http://www.guitarBreakdown.com Here's another Jazzy type lick from the Inspiring Guthrie Govan. Guthrie Govan Jazz Blues Lick 02 - Guitar Lesson - Part 1 of 2 - Guitar Instruction and Breakdown We've done a lot of lessons on Guthrie licks and solo's. In fact if you check out our playlists here on youTube you will see we've done more lessons on Guthrie then any other guitar player. There is no real reason for that ... well, maybe the reason is ... because every other day we find a new clip on youTube where guthrie plays something unique and jaw dropping. Yeah, that's the reason and I'm sticking with that. :) If you haven't seen our other Guthrie Govan lessons, click this link and it will bring you to our Guthrie Govan Playlist ... http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLA83786F719AE649D As for this lesson we will take a look at another really cool jazz blues line that guthrie strings together. He is so great at mixing in jazzy licks in with all his other styles of playing. Guthrie is a master at so many styles it is amazing. To hear Guthrie play this lick himself just go to ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gxlKjrueEA at around 2:42. The first half of this lesson we breakdown note for note what he is playing. And as usual the second half of the lessons consists of me yapping about how to break this idea down further into concepts that you can use in your own playing. I hope you enjoy this lesson ... Also as a side note ... we are excited to be using a new Wampler Euphoria Pedal on this video. I've been playing around with this pedal for a few months now ... and each time I plug into it i like it even more. I've mentioned before that we will be doing a review on this pedal ... and it is coming soon. I just like to spend a good amount of time with gear before I start taking about it. Like most gear ... it's only after a good amount of time spent with it that I can really know the many ways it can be used. So stick around for that because it's a great pedal with a lot of tonal options. Lesson Taught by David Clayton Alright ... Lets get to it.
