How to Use Triplets in Blues | Tuesday Blues #006
Published on 11 February 2016
Triplets can be tricky.
Though they are used in tons of tasty licks and they also serve as the rhythmic background for the iconic blues shuffle, they still confuse us.
For me though, the theory is the tricky part, but at least the basics make some since.
Take a note and play three in its place. There are tons of variations on that last statement, but for this lesson we're going to keep things as straightforward as possible.
To help you get a feel for the rhythm of triplets, I've created this lesson around what I call the Triplet Trainer.
