Twelve Bar Blues http://www.bluesguitarinstitute.com/ lesson33">http://www.bluesguitarinstitute.com/ lesson33 In this lesson, we'll take a look at the last four bars of a typical twelve bar blues progression in A. The cool thing about the blues is you can take the trusted twelve bar blues framework and make it your own. And that's what we're doing in this lesson. There's a little bit more going on in this lesson than just cycling through the chords. You can do that, but every now and then you need a lick like the one we kick this lesson off with to spice things up a bit. Then in the next bar we strum through a D7 chord just to keep us grounded in the rhythm before finishing off with a one-two punch of a classic A turnaround followed by a nice little E bass lick to cap things off.
