"Learn How To Play Gypsy Jazz Guitar"
In this series of video lessons I'm answering your questions about playing Gypsy Jazz Guitar.
This weeks question comes from Mike in Santa Barbara who asks "What are turnarounds and can you show me some examples?"
A turnaround is the bit at the end of a song where the chords move to set up the beginning of the next chorus.
I got 3 examples for you here all in the key of C major.
1. C, Am7, Dm7, G7
2. C, C#dim, Dm7, G7
3. C/E, Ebdim, Dm7, G7
These are all in the key of C so learn these in other keys too so you can use them on more tunes in the repertoire.
It's all about learning and absorbing these little things that will go onto taking your playing to the next level.
Have fun and please let me know if you have a question you'd like me to answer for you.
