Country Blues Fingerpicking in Dropped D http://www.bluesguitarinstitute.com/ lesson59">http://www.bluesguitarinstitute.com/ lesson59 In Tuesday Blues Number 59, we'll continue with the previous lesson where we introduced a few different concepts about Dropped D blues. In the previous lesson, I showed you how to tune your guitar to dropped d and also shared a few D and D7 chord shapes that are very useful to finger pickers. In this lesson, we'll take things one step further by introducing a fingerpicking pattern over a basic D major chord. I think you'll be surprised at how full and busy this piece sounds but the amazing thing is really just how little you need to move your fingers on the fretboard. Hope you enjoy this lesson. It's fun to play, especially if you prefer the bright sound of good country finger picking blues. Be sure to drop by Blues Guitar Institute and sign up as a free member.
