Delta Blues Lesson #1. in style of Charley Patton, Son House and Rube Lacy Key of E
Published on 27 January 2016
The first Guitar Lesson in Delta Blues Guitar Series by Greg Luland mixing the styles of Son House, Charley Patton and Rube Lacy to make your own Delta Blues in key of E. This is an informal lesson not claiming to be any particular Delta blues song but using elements of the playing of blues masters like those named above and also others like early Howlin' Wolf. The objective is for you to learn some of the basics and to be able to play freely and to improvise your own Delta Blues tune or Style. More lessons to come both in Delta Blues and in the Piedmont Blues styles. This is the first video lesson I have ever done so I will be learning about teaching via the tube while you learn this deep blues style.
