I'll show you, how to create your own dorian bebop lines on guitar as well as an 8 bar dorian jazz guitar solo. We'll start with the Dorian scale pattern number four and learn the related minor 7 chord as well as the m7 arpeggio. I'll teach, what the important things to watch out in the dorian mode are. We want to play around and even land on chord tones. We'll also add some chromatics in there to give it that distinct jazz sound. I will not only show you four dorian jazz guitar licks, but also explain them to you. I'll show you in detail what I did there, what the dorian bebop line is made of and how you can create licks yourself. So it's not just a how to improvise in dorian mode on guitar lesson, but I want you to understand what you're doing there. I mean everybody can play a thousand dorian jazz guitar licks, but do you really understand how the impravisation works? At the end of this dorian jazz guitar tutorial I'll connect all the dorian licks together and we'll get an 8 bar dorian solo.
