You'll learn about the dorian chords, scale and arpeggio relationship. I'll show everything note for note and explain the theory behind it. You'll learn about the important notes in that scale, as well as avaoid notes and how important they are. We even gonna put them into focus in one of the dorian guitar licks. At the end of this dorian jazz guitar tutorial, we'll connect the previously learned licks and create an entire 8 bar dorian guitar solo. The dorian scale is one of the most played scales in jazz. There is a reason why a lot of jazz players say "it's all dorian anyway". The dorian Mode has the brightest of the minor scale sounds. They say it's the happiest minor mode. That's due to the avoid note, the major 6th. We'll learn how to not land on it, but yet use it to outline that happy-sad dorian sound. You'll see, that with my note for note explanation and theory backround info, the dorian scale won't be a mystery to you anymore.
