Fender Telecaster Deluxe Sound Demo - Fender American Telecaster Review

Published on 24 November 2019
Sound Review of the Fender Telecaster Deluxe. No talking - pure, professionally recorded sound. All pickup positions. Clear, OD and distortion sounds. Fender Telecaster Deluxe features: The Fender American Telecaster in the video is a Fender Telecaster Deluxe from 2013. It`s very similar to the Fender Telecaster Elite, which was its follow up model. Pickups are Fender N3 Noiseless, which sound nicely punchy, twangy, just like regular American Telecaster pickups. The famous S1 switch enables series circuit for the pickups, when in middle position. The Fender American Telecaster Deluxe comes with a compound radius neck. It`s radius flattens out towards the body, which makes it easier for soloing. While the rounder radius towards the headstock makes it more comfortable to play chords. The neck is smooth, no sticking like on a laquered neck. The Fender Telecaster has a smooth satin neck finish. The fretboard is laquered maple. Fender Telecaster Deluxe Sound: Usually a Fender Tele is not that versatile. But the Fender US Telecaster Deluxe is. Due to its S1 switch, you have those fat sounds, that are usually only achieved by using humbuckers. The two single coil pickups are wired in series when the S1 swich is engaged, giving you a really fat sound. The only drawback (at least with my Telecaster) is the humming you get when enabling the S1 switch - even with the noiseless pickups. You don`t have that hum, when you don`t enable the S1 switch, thus having both pickups in parallel. So the Fender Telecaster Deluxe gives you the usual twangy Tele sound in the neck and bridge pickups. Funk and country all over. With the Deluxe version you also get good rock sounds. So this is a real working horse for me, worth every dollar. ****************************************************************** Please like this video!
