Full lessons at https://bluesrockguitarlessons.com Check out this way-fonky rhythm guitar part played in the key of E. This is built around two different 7th chord shapes. 7th chords are used extensively in blues, soul, funk, R&B…..have fun jamming behind someone else playing lead, or record this rhythm yourself, loop it, and then practice your funky lead improvising on top of it. Can be played in any key, of course. I have a passion for music and a passion for teaching and I have been immersed in music my whole life. My father was the guitarist with the 60's & 70's roots-rock band Mother Earth. I was so fortunate to grow up in the rich musical scene here in Austin, Texas. Starting when I was a young kid, I was able to sit in with, and open the shows for, many blues legends-guys like Albert Collins, Buddy Guy, Albert King, Jimmie Vaughan, Johnny Winter, Ottis Rush and B.B. King. I was able to learn first hand from these players how to really be a great blues guitarist! At https://bluesrockguitarlessons.com you can learn the licks, riffs, progressions and entire songs of many blues and rock legends, the way they played them. Benefit from my years of experience by watching, learning and playing with me online! Website: https://bluesrockguitarlessons.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bluesrockgui...
