Gibson Les Paul Sound Demo - Gibson Les Paul Classic SR 2015 Sound Review

Published on 24 November 2019
Professionally recorded sound demo of the Gibson Les Paul Classic. The guitar in this video is a Gibson Les Paul Classic 2015 Sprint Run in Seafoam Green (SG). This Gibson Les Paul has regular Gibson specs. The nut width is 43mm and it does not come with the G-Force tuning system. That`s why it`s called a sprint run. All the other 2015 series Les Pauls had the G-Force and a wider nut width of 46mm. Pickups: Neck pickup is a Gibson Classic 57 Bridge pickup is a Gibson Classic 57+ The Gibson Les Paul Classic comes with coil tap. So each humbucker is splittable into single coils via the push/pull knobs. The Gibson Les Paul Sprint Run from 2015 also comes with a brass nut, which functions as a zero fret. Another feature is the 15db boost on the Gibson Les Paul Classic. Advantages of the Gibson Les Paul Classic 2015 Sprint Run (SR): + Hight adjustable nut made of brass + 15 db Boost Switch + Gibson Classic 57 pickups + Coil tap splitting + Detachable pickguard Drawbacks of the Gibson Les Paul Classic 2015 Sprint Run (SR): - Electronics not hand wired, but use a circuit board, which causes noise. - The boost switch needs a 9V battery. The guitar itself is of course passive and does not need abattery. But without battery the boost won`t work. Conclusion: I can highly recommend the Gibson Les Paul Classic Sprint Run. It has plenty of usable features for areally good price. If you still find one get it!. ******************************************************************** Please give this video a thumb up, if you like it!
