Direct sound comparison between the Gibson Les Paul, Epiphone Les Paul and the Gibson SG. I`ll be explaining the differecies and give you a professionally recorded sound review. The guitars in this video are: + Gibson Les Paul Classic 2015 Special Run with Classic 57 (neck) and Classic 57+ (bridge) pickups. + Epiphone Les Paul 100th anniversary with 650R (neck) and 700T Humbucker (bridge) pickups. + Gibson SG 2016 Gibson Les Paul vs Epiphone Les Paul comparison: The Gibson Les Paul sounds fatter, has more overtones and simply "shines" more. The Epiphone Les Paul has ceramic pickups and thus a higher output and sounds more aggressive. Gibson Les Paul vs Gibson SG comparison: While the Gibson Les Paul has a warm and mellow sound, the Gibson SG has more presence (high mids) and cuts well through the mix.
