This is such a great solo! Lindsey Buckingham makes it look easy, but it's actually quite tricky to play! The biggest thing here is that you are playing a melody while maintaining the travis pick which leads to all sorts of cool variations and sounds. It's very disciplined playing and will take most guys a while to get down, but once you do, it really sounds amazing and is a lot of fun to play. Keeping the meter is also key to making this sound good and is one thing that LB is really good at, his travis pick is like a metronome! I hope you enjoy the lesson and have fun playing this cool solo. The guitar I'm playing here is a Taylor 214ce koa deluxe. I really like this guitar, it intonates amazingly well and it's tone is very balanced. It's also very easy to play. The strings are Elixir phosphor bronze 12-53 with nanoweb coating. These strings are a little bit more expensive, but for me they easily last 4-5 times longer than non-coated strings.
