A Major Scale

The notes in the A major scale are A, B, C#, D, E, F#, and G#. The A major scale has three sharps in its key signature. 

A major scale is made up of the following intervals:

Root, Tone, Tone, Semitone, Tone, Tone, Tone, and Semitone. 

When playing the A major scale on the piano, the fingering order for the right hand is 12312345, and the fingering order for the left hand is 54321321.
